First Signs of Spring

As I was taking Emma out to the car I noticed a flash of color out of the corner of my eye. It turned out to be the first Krokus, which will pop up usually in very early March but with the mild winter we had, it has decided to poke through and brighten the front lawn with its brilliance.

The Krokus were planted by a previous owner (10+Yeats ago) and now have been redistributed around the lawn by various wildlife such as chipmunks or absent-minded squirrels.

My joy at the first sign of Spring was tempered though, because a second sign of Spring had poked through the lifeless lawn to reveal itself. The Dandelion. This is a flower which fills me with a slight dread over the eventual lawn maintenance of digging, mulching, mowing, spraying and trimming.

Oh well, my exuberance lasted a whole 3 seconds on that one.

Smiley

This is a nice movie I took of Emma as I was feeding her the other day.

Cute Pic

Took this pic this morning. Emma is smiling with her little mouse teeth. She finally got a new one on the top that pushed through this weekend.

So now we get what all that snotty, agitated and waking in the middle of the night was all about this weekend. Thought it was a cold. Whew.

Universe Telling Me Something?

We were at the craft (crap) store today and in one of the aisles I came across this. Is it possible that the Universe is trying to tell me something? If so, what could it be? A secret message? An acronym of some sort?

I don't know, I just know that I'm thirsty and could sit and think about this for awhile. Pretzels also keep popping into my mind too, which is odd since I was at the craft store. I'm not even certain all this isn't somehow connected. If I get it figured out, I will be sure to blog about that, rest assured!

The Universe is a strange place, indeed.

PTA Bingo Night at School

We went out to bingo night at Jacks school last night. You could preorder a pizza, drinks and bingo cards and all that only cost us $17 for a night out.

Nobody won (in our family) but it was fun to play and the proceeds went to the PTA.

Emma loved munching on the pizza crust (felt good on her gums I'm sure).
